Cancellation & Refund Policy
Review how booking changes, cancellations, payments made directly to venues, refunds and workspace owner subscriptions are handled on Makank.
Draft for review — operator identity and legal review pending: 2026-10-02
Before you confirm or pay
Ask the venue for the total price, any deposit, cancellation deadline, refund conditions and no-show rules in writing. A booking request is pending until confirmed. Makank does not currently provide a universal venue refund schedule or hold venue booking payments. Mandatory consumer rights apply even when a venue states otherwise.
Changing or cancelling a booking
Use the cancellation option in your bookings where available and contact the venue promptly. Keep a dated record of your request. If an option is unavailable, contact the venue and platform support. Automated expiry or no-show labels describe platform status; they do not create a new fee, waive a statutory right or determine who is entitled to funds.
Venue payments and service problems
Customer booking payments are not collected online by Makank. For a payment made directly to a venue, request any refund from that venue and retain the receipt. Report a venue cancellation, incorrect listing or unavailable service to us with the booking reference. We can review the listing and help communicate, but cannot promise a refund from funds we do not hold. This does not limit any responsibility imposed on Makank by law.
Owner subscription payments
For a pending activation, duplicate transfer, incorrect amount or plan that was not supplied, contact platform support with the payment reference, date, amount and selected plan. Do not send a password, PIN or one-time code. Each claim must be reviewed against the agreed service and applicable law; there is no blanket “all payments are non-refundable” exclusion.
Any approved refund must be documented with its amount, method and expected timing. Cancellation of a future renewal does not automatically refund an already supplied period, subject to statutory rights. Renewal currently requires another payment rather than an automatic card debit.
Complaints and statutory rights
Use the contact details on About & Contact. Supply relevant evidence and allow us to investigate, without delaying any legal deadline. You may contact the Consumer Protection Agency or competent courts. A venue policy or this page cannot override mandatory cancellation, reimbursement or compensation rights.
